M60巴頓（M60 Patton）是美國陸軍第四代也是最後一代的巴頓系列戰車；用來取代過去的M48巴頓。雖然M60是巴頓系列的延續，但「巴頓」從未是它官方名稱的一部分，其正式名稱為105公厘炮主力戰車M60（105 mm Gun Full Tracked Combat Tank M60）[1]。M60是美國第一款主力戰車，在美軍自1962年起服役，在1960至70年代是美軍裝甲部隊最重要的戰車，期間曾發展出數款改良型，至1980年代因M1戰車服役逐漸退出第一線單位，到1990年代初因美蘇冷戰結束，美軍規模縮減而全數除役，但至今仍有多國仍在使用M60巴頓戰車。
The M60 Patton (M60 Patton) is the fourth and last generation of the US Army’s Patton series; used to replace the past M48 Patton. Although the M60 is a continuation of the Patton series, the “Paton” has never been part of its official name. Its official name is 105 mm Gun Full Tracked Combat Tank M60 (105 mm Gun Full Tracked Combat Tank M60) [1]. The M60 is the first main tank in the United States. It has been in service in the U.S. Army since 1962. It was the most important tank in the U.S. Armored Forces from the 1960s to the 1970s. Several improved versions were developed during the period. It was in service with the M1 tank in the 1980s. Gradually withdrew from the front-line units, in the early 1990s, due to the end of the US-Soviet Cold War, the US military was reduced in size and all were decommissioned. However, many countries are still using the M60 Patton.
