今(107)年國慶活動以「2018 台灣共好 Taiwan together」為主題，代表政府對政策的堅持與國家永續發展戮力不懈，回應人民的期待，讓臺灣邁向更美好的未來。主視覺設計有別於以往，以動態方式呈現，從抽象概念出發，透過點的匯合，意味每個人都能團結彼此，點象徵心臟，臺灣百工中每一個人，都是國家的心臟，代表中華民國的躍動，生生不息。

今年的國慶慶典將於10月10日上午，在總統府前重慶南路、凱達格蘭大道及南、北廣場舉行，暖場表演將邀請來自世界各地的僑胞代表排舞演出、國防部三軍樂儀隊操槍、屏東縣仁愛國小跳繩隊舞蹈、憲兵指揮部快反連重機排出各式隊形、高雄市樹德家商武舞風的街舞等，帶來精彩演出；也首次安排空軍福克50、C130運輸機及P3C反潛偵察機隊慢速衝場，揭開國慶大會慶典序幕。

在國慶大會開始後，將邀請6位「燈塔守護者」，搭配40位國防大學合唱團領唱國歌。而國慶禮讚則將由南投縣「民和國中濁岸合唱團」，氣勢磅礡的三部合音及孩子們天籟般的美聲，讓世界聽見臺灣本土的原聲。

大會最後將由空軍首次以大功率發動機的幻象戰機，以震懾全場的轟隆引擎聲，劃過總統府上空向臺北101方向飛去，把慶賀氣氛帶至最高潮，為民眾留下一個難忘的國慶回憶。

The theme of today’s 2018 Double Tenth National Day celebrations was “Taiwan, Together.” The theme reflects the government’s commitment to its policy and unremitting efforts to promote sustainable national development, while responding to the people of Taiwan’s aspiration to embrace a brighter future.

The prelude to this year’s National Day celebrations featured a line dance performed by Taiwan expatriate representatives from around the world, a rifle exhibition drill by the Ministry of National Defense Honor Guard, rope skipping dancing from Pingtung Ren-Ai Elementary School, precision formations performed by the motorcycle-mounted MP Quick Reaction Company, and street dancing from the Shu-Te Home Economics and Commercial High School.

The ceremony began with the singing of the national anthem, led by six of Taiwan’s lighthouse guardians, joined by 40 members of the National Defense University Choir. The National Day Tribute then featured a stirring performance by the Juann Choir of Mingho Junior High School that let the whole world hear the native sounds of Taiwan.

The ceremonies closed, for the first time, with a flyover by ROC Air Force Mirage fighter jets, giving the public unforgettable memories of the 2018 National Day celebrations.
