The Legislative Yuan’s Internal Administration Committee is reviewing draft amendments to the Nationality Act. Immigration groups have expressed support for the amendments. They are also calling for dual citizenship and equal rights for naturalized and native-born citizens. However, the Ministry of the Interior does not support these proposals.
