新華社柏林８月１９日電（記者王勍）德國外長加佈裡爾１９日與西班牙外交大臣達斯蒂斯通電話，懇請西班牙不要將在其境內被捕的德籍土耳其裔作家多安·阿克汗裡引渡至土耳其。
德國外交部通報稱，加佈裡爾在電話中希望西班牙政府允許德國駐西班牙使館盡快為阿克汗裡提供領事保護，並參與引渡阿克汗裡申請的審批工作。按照引渡程序，西班牙政府將根據土方提供的證據，決定是否將阿克汗裡引渡至土耳其。德國希望西班牙政府駁回土耳其提出的引渡申請。
阿克汗裡的律師說，西班牙警方在收到土耳其通過國際刑警組織發出的紅色通緝令後，於日前逮捕瞭正在西班牙度假的阿克汗裡。目前還不清楚土耳其對他提出瞭什麼指控。
阿克汗裡於１９９１年離開土耳其定居德國，並獲得德國國籍。２０１０年，阿克汗裡回國探望病危的父親時曾在伊斯坦佈爾機場被捕，理由是他在１９８９年參與一起謀殺案，但是被關押數日後獲得釋放。
２０１１年，土耳其一家法院缺席判決阿克汗裡無罪。然而，這一判決在２０１３年被推翻。阿克汗裡多次批評土耳其政府，還在文學作品中將土耳其奧斯曼帝國統治時期大批亞美尼亞人死亡的事件稱為“種族屠殺”。土耳其政府否認“種族屠殺”之說。
