12式反艦導彈是日本三菱重工新研的一型車載岸艦導彈，將逐步替代現役的88式岸艦導彈。日本自2012年開始研製該型反艦導彈，到2015年正式服役於日本陸上自衛隊，國外媒體僅披露了這型導彈的部分參數：彈長約5米，彈徑350毫米；採用高爆戰鬥部；發射重量700千克，最大射程200千米。搭載平台為8×8卡車底盤，每輛車搭載6枚，導彈發射箱為正方形截面。
12式反艦導彈是一種可以掠海翱翔的巡航導彈，能夠利用地形匹配和GPS制導繞過海上島礁，從“出人意料”的方向飛向敵艦，並具有極強抗干擾能力，在全球反艦導彈中較為罕見。基於日本先進的電子技術水平，12式反艦導彈具備優秀的抗干擾能力和良好精度，但是射程不如其他國家目前裝備的主力反艦導彈，戰鬥部威力也由於輪式底盤的承載能力而受到限制。
The Type 12 anti-ship missile is a new type of vehicle-mounted shore-to-ship missile newly developed by Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which will gradually replace the Type 88 shore-to-ship missile currently in service.
