It has been reported that China has accused the United States of sending “extremely erroneous, dangerous signals” over Taiwan and that China has informed the United States that it has “no right to intervene” with whatever tactics Beijing may take to “resolve” the Taiwan problem.

A US source told reporters on Friday that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had 90 minutes of “direct and honest” conversations about Taiwan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
