As part of an eight-day official visit to three of the Republic of China’s Central American and Caribbean diplomatic allies in mid-July, President Ma Ying-jeou visited the Dominican Republic. He met with his counterpart, Danilo Medina, at the National Palace after attending a military ceremony in his honor in the Caribbean country.
